Circular Materials Ready Recycle Repeat Summer Program
Last summer, I collaborated with Inventa, a Vancouver-based experiential marketing agency, on a project with Circular Materials—a national non-profit dedicated to supporting Canadian producers in meeting Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) commitments across the country. Our task was to develop marketing activations and educational materials for promotion in Ontario.
When we joined, the brand was still in its early stages so we focused on approved elements, keeping the design simple yet engaging. At the centre of the initiative were the mobile community event assets featuring a tent, interactive games, and media walls. For the schools, my team crafted the education resource kit with games and activities, featuring an animated character, Max the empty mayo jar.
The school toolkit aimed to cultivate lifelong recyclers by empowering, educating, and inspiring young students to actively participate in recycling. Kits were distributed physically to schools, supplemented with downloadable resources to enhance accessibility.
This was a great gig for our team, and everyone relished the experience.
